Why an apple you ask?

Poems are sweet as an apple,

A fruit you slowly consume,

and makes a crunchy swish sound,

With a smile that fills the room.

It happens to be my surname:

Manzano—Apple Tree—Poetry.

And I’ve saved a batch of apples

In case you say, “Show me.”

Born and Raised in New York City.

2/3rds of my early life, I hated writing.

Spring 2015, I saw a photo of a man on the street typewriting poetry.

That summer, I brought a typewriter to Central Park and never looked back.

My English teacher demanded I write poetry.

So here are your 5 common inquiries:

My rate per poet varies on the type of event, but you’re looking at a range between $300-500 per hour.
Absolutely.
I paired prompts to special events in the event portal near the end of this page.
I only require 3 things from you:
- A Nice Small Table
- Two Chairs
- A Custom Sign
I will bring my stationery and typewriter that best suits your event’s theme.
The custom sign and unique typewriter will do 80% of the eye-catching. However, in the rare event that people do not approach, I will charm your guest towards my table.
Naturally, for large events, not everyone will receive a poem. However, if your goal is to serve more than 10 poems per hour, I suggest two solutions:
1. Request a themed prompt for your event. For instance, first impression poems entail I look at your guest, and write what I see. Very quick turnout.
2. You may enlist a few more poets for your event. That way, we can furnish 20-60 poems per hour.
